Fishing is as good as it gets here in the Florida Keys.
Offshore we are finding large schools of mahi mahi, from schoolie size to larger fish over 20lbs. Also mixed in are tuna, wahoo, tripletail and billfish. Birds working, weedlines and floating debris have been key to putting these fish in the box.
Inshore we are anchoring on reefs and wrecks to catch large yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper and grouper. Chumming the water with baitfish brings these tasty fish close to the boat where we use freelining and live bait techiques to produce all around great catches.
With the summer coming to a close and crowds dying down now is a great time to visit the Florida Keys.
